Interested in exploring Reader ministry or theological study?

Image removed.Readers provide a vital and effective ministry - and our churches need more of them.

Readers are lay theologians, with a license from the Bishop to teach, preach and offer pastoral care in our parishes. As a member of the ministerial team, Readers play a full role in the leadership of the church, using all their gifts and talents to the glory of God.

If you feel called to this role (or just want to take on some theological study), please come and explore at one of the following evenings:

Monday 27 April – St Mark’s, Harrogate  7pm

Tuesday 5 May – Holy Trinity, Ripon  7pm

Wednesday 6 May – Leeds Diocesan Office  7pm

Wednesday 13 May – St Mary’s, Richmond  7pm

Thursday 14 May – Harmby Village Hall (near Leyburn)  7pm

Further details and booking from Ann Nicholl, email or 0113 2694045.

The sessions are organised by the Leeds and Ripon Episcopal areas, but are open to all in the diocese.
