‘The Trumpets shall Sound’ – Concert by Ille Litui Olicanae
Saturday 7 June, 7.00 pm (at St Margaret’s)
Advance notice: Saturday 7th June will see a spectacular concert performed in St Margaret's. It will consist of music for eight trumpets, with organ, soprano soloist and timpani. Any profits will be donated to the church. Music written for eight trumpets is comparatively rare, and as a result, concerts for eight trumpets are rare, too! A concert like this has not been seen in Ilkley for over 15 years, and possibly a lot longer. Take a chance, and hear music performed that you may never hear again!
