Organ Recital, Friday 2 May

The recital on Friday 2 May at 12.30 pm is a selection of pieces requested by members of our regular organ recital audience.  Composers include Buxtehude from the 17^th century, Bach from the 18^th, the Choral Song (and Fugue) by Samuel Sebastian Wesley (first organist of the rebuilt Leeds Parish Church in 1841) from the 19^th century, and Cocker’s Tuba Tune, Vierne’s Berceuse and Dupré’s Fugue in G minor from the 20^th – nothing from the 21st century, I’m afraid!
