Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Sunday June 5th at 6.30 pm St Margaret’s

We hope you will join us for this service of thanksgiving in commemoration of the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It promises to be an uplifting and joyful celebration with involvement from many people within the Ilkley community.

Music will be played from the coronations of King George II, King Edward VII and the Queen along with music composed for the marriage service of the Princess Elizabeth and Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in 1947. Extracts from the Queen's speeches will be read out by children from local schools and members of our community. St Margaret's Choir and representatives from local choirs Ilkley Choral Society and Cantores will also perform. The service will be attended by many representatives of our local community and by the Right Reverend Dr Toby Howarth, Bishop of Bradford.

The service starts at 6.30 pm following the Jubilee Party on The Grove. All are welcome to join us.
